Wallets and pockets – these two terms are as old as the products they stand for. When more than 100 years ago the first envelopes were developed, these terms couldn’t have been more suitable, since there were just two types of envelopes in the beginning.
In the meantime, in the third millennium, the range of available wallets and pockets stretches over a wide spectrum, from standard products to noble wallets for document posting. A comparison of today’s Mayer-Kuvert envelopes with those earlier envelopes is not practical.
